BeatVault ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our iOS and Android mobile application (the "App") handles information in connection with your use of the BeatVault Ethereum inheritance vault service.

BeatVault is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not require user registration, do not collect personal information, and do not maintain centralized databases of user data.

7.1 Right to Access

You have the right to request what personal data we hold about you. Given that BeatVault does not collect personal information, any such request will confirm that we have no personal data associated with you.

7.2 Right to Erasure ("Right to Be Forgotten")

Since BeatVault does not maintain centralized records of personal data, there is no personal information for us to erase. Deleting the App from your device will remove all locally stored preferences.

7.3 Right to Data Portability

All your vault configuration and settings are stored locally on your device. You can export this information by backing up your device or accessing it directly through the App.

7.4 Right to Restrict Processing

You can disable App features or disconnect your wallet at any time. The App will not process any data once disconnected.

7.5 Withdrawing Consent

You can stop using BeatVault at any time. No ongoing data processing occurs after you disconnect and uninstall the App.

8. CCPA Rights (California Residents)

If you are a resident of California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

You have the right to delete personal information. All locally stored data can be deleted by uninstalling the App from your device.

BeatVault does not engage in "sales" of personal information or targeted advertising. There is nothing to opt out of.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

9.1 Local Device Storage

Vault preferences and configuration remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. You maintain full control over this data.

9.2 Blockchain Data

Transaction and vault data on the Ethereum blockchain is permanent and immutable by design. BeatVault does not delete or modify blockchain records.

9.3 Third-Party Services

WalletConnect, Alchemy RPC, and Etherscan retain data according to their respective privacy policies. Refer to their documentation for specific retention periods.
